Is it time to re-think our understanding of monotheism, and if we re-affirm it do we have to reconsider how we understand him? We may no longer want to claim him/her as Catholic, Protestant or Orthodox, but are we ready to broaden our horizons further, and are our particular rites and ceremonies essentially food for the faithful or signs of exclusivity?
Identify one or two ‘new starts’ of quite different kinds and in different places. Discuss the pros and cons with your friends and in conclusion find time to discuss your agreements and disagreements to discover just what leads you all to think and feel as you do.
